It’s finally springtime!
In two short weeks we will enjoy Easter holidays and if your home is not yet decorated with bright colours and joyful ornaments, don’t waste another minute! Here is a quick and easy DIY that you can do with kids and have some fun in the process.
Here is what we’ll need:
pretty patterned paper
an egg-shaped cardboard template (12cm by 8cm)
and a piece of twine.
First, I made my own patterned paper from three simple A4 sheets. I selected and downloaded simple and pretty patterns from Wripwrapwrop and printed front side of every sheet with blue pattern and back side with the same pattern in orange.
Then I used my template to cut out two identical double-sided eggs from every sheet.
I piled the eggs and stapled them in the middle. Don’t forget to add a twine!
Then I stapled the edges of the eggs in the middle, so that only the blue pattern was visible.
And finally, I stapled the tops and bottoms of egg-edges to show off orange pattern (like you see on the picture).
In a blink of an eye I made my own Easter decoration 🙂
